Guitar and Bass at the Same Time?

I have a 40+yr old Eko 12 string which for the past 15 years has been an Octobass. I removed 8 of the machine heads, replacing 5 & 6 with bass heads for ease of tuning. I use D'Addario short scale bass strings., Attaching them to the bridge is simple- thread them through from the inside. a bit of filing on the nut and I was away. No dropped strings or retuning. My style of Chet picking works well. I don't know of any others in Australia. Guitar can be viewed on Youtube by searching "Adelong has Gold in its Veins".
