Default TC Play Acoustic vs G-Natural

It would appear that the Play Acoustic offers pretty much all the functionality of the G-Natural - including:
1. Mic input
2. Stereo Delay (for both vocal mic and guitar)
3. Stereo Reverb (for both vocal mic and guitar)

It's curious that on eBay, used G-Naturals seem to be selling for more than new Play Acoustics. Am I missing something?

I intend to also use it as a delay / reverb processor for electric guitar. I place a mic in front of my 1x12 electric guitar cab - run that to a delay / reverb processor - and then the 100% wet output of the FX processor goes to a pair of stereo speakers on each side of my 1x12 guitar cab.

Most grateful for your personal / practical experiences with the 'Play Acoustic'

If using for an electric guitar, wouldn't you rather use a TC Electronic Play Electric?

Good point Spruce Top...

However, I only gig acoustically, and the acoustic features will come in handy.

For playing my electric guitar at home - all I want are stereo delay and reverb (both post-speaker).

This of course takes it two steps further than putting a modulation effect in the FX loop (when all you've done is placed it after the preamp). This was the final sound incorporating everything (guitar, preamp saturation, power amp saturation and speaker) - is then run to delay/reverb. Sounds heavenly...

I play in an acoustic trio and use the Play Acoustic. One of the other guitarists in my group uses the G-Natural. While it looks very pro and sturdy, he's complained about faulty buttons and the handles coming lose. The Play Acoustic is much newer technology and has features I love that the G doesn't. Specifically, it has looping and vocal processing including harmonies.
