Default Anyone recommend a good shop in New Jersey to get an an amplification system put into

I'm in Jersey City and want to take my Lowden to a shop that will do a good job installing amplification in it. Not sure what I want since I'm not experienced with this so if folks can suggest a good option that would be helpful, this is for a 12 string F35.

There are quite a few decent > great pickup systems for 12 stringed guitars... you definitely need/want to know exactly WHAT you want put into that guitar.

A lot depends upon how much money you want or are willing to spend. I had a LR Baggs Anthem SL system in my Angus 12 string for about 10 years, and it produced very good sound for me. Prior to that, I had a Fishman Matrix Acoustic Natural pickup in the same guitar, and it worked very well, also.

A lot depends upon your style of play and the system through which you intend to amplify the signal from the guitar... you don't get your guitar "amplified"; you put some sort of pickup into it so that it CAN be amplified by a PA system or a dedicated amplifier unit.

Do some homework and research before you jump right into this - if you chose well and wisely, there's a very good chance that the pickup you buy will be with you for a LONG time! It's worth the effort to be as certain as you can about what you want...

Default another fan of repair.com in Freehold

another fan of repair.com in Freehold. They have serviced two of my guitars, a Martin 00028 and a Taylor 455 RCE. Did fret work on both and did a great job of it. Also did setups as part of the package.
