Default NGD 2: Casino Coupe

In a recent thread I highlighted my olive drab Casino Worn. Unfortunately, as much as I loved the tone, the thin neck was an issue. So, under the 45 day return policy I returned it to GC. I then researched and found that the coupe model has a different neck profile, so I took a chance and ordered one. I am much happier with the neck on the coupe. It's quite a bit fuller and chunkier than the Worn model.

As for tone, I'd say it captures 90 percent of the regular Casino, but adds a little punch to the notes. It's also the same size as my ES339 and I love the compact size.

I also love turquoise. So win/win!20231020_160538.jpg

That neck profile is Epi's Slim Taper D. I have it on my epi 339 p90, and it's a little too "D" for me (I like more of a C), but the rest of the 339's so good I just make the neck work for me. Great choice with the Coupe'.

Cool guitar! I didn't even know this model existed!
