Default Incredible Beatles video

Imagine people getting this close.
I wonder if they tell their grandkids about it.

Wow. Pre-Ringo...rare video indeed.
Jimmy Nicol on drums.

Amazing...especially since most of the screamers and upstagers are men!

Not pre-Ringo. Jimmy Nicol covered for Ringo in 1964 when Ringo was hospitalised with tonsillitis. Copenhagen was the first of eight shows he covered.

Not pre-Ringo. This is from the Summer 1964 Australian tour. Ringo was sick but they wanted to capitalize on Beatlemania since they thought it wouldn't last long.

Also they're lipsyching to previously recorded version. You can tell because there's no additional noises on the mics despite the crowd and the instruments aren't plugged in.

Thanks for info. That makes more sense too, given the song they played (synced) and the way they appeared.

Great find. Almost a pre-punk mosh pit!

Not goofy at all. I'd say culturally historic. And important. There's a lot of innocence there, but also the "smoke" - and a lot of pent-up tension. The times were, indeed, "A'Chagin'". Fast forward a few short years, and some of these kids might have been watching the MC5 live - a totally different, "sans" innocence, experience...

Thanks for posting. I was just a kid when that was recorded, but the thing I loved about the Beatles whenever I heard them was they sounded nothing like the music my parents listened to.

I remember listening to "Can't buy me love" for the first time on the BBC Light Program. My mum said "they won't last"......Doh
