2016 Kerry Char 0000 looking for D-18, 000-18 or J45
This 0000 (or Small Jumbo) was built by Portland Based Luthier Kerry Char in 2016 for the NAMM and Guild of American Luthiers show. It shows off his best custom work and his incredible collection of rare tone woods. It has a Lutz Spruce top, exotic, highly figured mahogany back and sides, Koa binding, ebony fretboard and bridge, beautiful mother of pearl sound hole inlay and position markers, high end Schaller open tuners, and a very nice faux gator case. The sound is big and complex. A very alive, responsive guitar with a piano like brilliance. Nut width is 1 3/4" and string spacing is 2 1/4"
Would trade for a 50's J45 Martin D-18 or 000 $4950 shipped for AGF members. More photos in my Reverb ad https://reverb.com/item/13105943-kerry-char-0000-2016 Last edited by Evanelk; 06-24-2018 at 08:35 PM. Reason: emphasize trade interest |
