Default Mainstream Classical Guitar

One of the reasons I lost interest in classical guitar was the lack of new material. What new material that existed was atonal without a killer melody that made me want to listen and learn to play the piece. Enter this gentleman:

He has managed to arrange many pieces of the mainstream classical repertoire for guitar and make them truly epic. Now if only the mainstream performers would embrace these composers.

Nice arrangement skillfully played.

Hard to imagine that a classical guitarist ran out of music to play. While relatively little of the classical guitar repertoire was written for guitar, an awful lot of music can be, and continues to be transcribed for guitar. Look up transcriptions for the guitar of Bach’s toccata and fugue originally for organ, for example.

That was was really nice. Thank you for sharing! His arrangements of Chopin pieces are also very good. My favorite:
