Default 1954 Martin 00-17 $1800 or trade Martin 000-18 or OM28 e retro

Martin 00-17 $1800 CONUS. trade for Martin 000-18e retro or OM-28e retro with the older F1 Aura+ electronics

The body of the 00-17 was refinished sometime in the past, and I recently had the neck reset along with a new bridge and saddle. The saddle is Brazilian and looks like it is old, very nice.

In the pictures I tried to capture the most significant “scars,”. On the body at the neck and below the saddle I would guess these represent marks from previous poor repair work. The pickguard also was not positioned correctly and Jake fixed that. He said the pickguard while not original was the correct kind for the time. It is a very solid guitar now. I love the light weight and dryness of it. You can’t get that in something new.

And I also bought a new Guardian Vintage style case for it which fits like a glove. Perfect.

Here is a link to pictures of the 00-17 and work invoice.

It's easy to play and sounds great. Nice for just about any style from strumming to finger style.
Email or private message if you have any interest.

Thanks for looking

Not to butt in without an interest in trading - but the OM-28E was a fantastic gigging guitar for me for a year or so. They’re wonderful!

Default string spacing and nut width

String spacing at saddle is 2 3/16" and nut is 1 11/16". I would describe the neck shape as a very soft V, not much and rounding out quickly up the neck.
