Default Milk Carton Kids - Live From Lincoln Theater

I watched this full show last night on You Tube and was mesmerized by the performances.

I had some idea of their music but not until watching this, did I fully come to appreciate what I think is one of the best acoustic duo's on the music. As T- Bone Burnett said, "these guys are gonna take over the world". While that might be a tiny overstatement, if you appreciate two mik'd acoustic guitars, perfect harmonies, a virtuoso acoustic lead player, and fine songs, they are worth your time.

I was on a huge Milk Carton Kids kick for some months and went through a few nice 50's 0-15 guitars , wish they had wider necks, they are magic but I fumble and mute with my big hands. I think they are spectacular.

Default Milk Carton Kids

They are, IMO fantastic. I first heard of them when the movie"Inside Llewyn Davis" came out. They're not in the movie soundtrack, but they do have a song on the concert CD that came out.

Saw them a year or so ago and was blown away by their abilities, material and performance. They are the real deal. I hope they come our way again soon. Highly recommended.

Martin and Gruhn Guitars teamed up for the Pattengale Special (and yes, it comes with a hankie). The nut is 1 and 11/16. Might be worth checking out.

I like listening to them much better than watching them. Still can't get past that handkerchief thing. I've heard his reasons for using it but it still seems an unnecessary affectation to me.
Yeah, I know, but I'm...Hey! You Kids! Get off my lawn! ...just getting old.

I get it but I’m just the opposite, and old too. I love watching them play, as I do most groups. The handkerchief serves a purpose so I don’t mind it being there.
