Default So Many Big Sports things Today!

I got up, and on my second mug of tea started preparing a greek lamb stew for tonihgt with all home grown veggies.

Today is the British F1 Grand Prix, the Wimbledon Men's Final and the final of the ICC World Cricket Club Final - NZ vs England.

I left at midday to cycle to the gym, and whilst I mostly use the twittens, I have to cross seven usually busy city roads.

Today ? Ghost Town !

Have the triffids landed?
Has Mars attacked?
The black death?

No .... just motor racing, tennis and cricket.

(I'm watching the race .. of course).

We're hours behind and I think I'll do my own soon. My wife's out on a bike ride. My driveway is 2 mi from a trailhead where I can do 5 - 15 miles off road.

We just finished a new jump line that's for teaching kids and old farts like me. I thought my jumping a bike more than inches was over but this has a really easy progression of lines with 1 and 4 ft drop followed by 3 table tops. I got enough hang time yesterday to want to be right back at it.

Age is strange with sports. I can still take skis and a bike int expert stuff but find I can't take it all at the rate it goes. I got a concussion a few weeks ago.

My pals are all talking about doing things later. I hate the days when 1/2 is lost so it's time to go.

The after fun goal is the food you're speaking of. I'll get the sports done go to grocery and enjoy it all.

I don't follow cricket but why do you say the ICC (International Cricket Council) is insane? Was it because I wrote "club" in error?

Not at all it was just extremely close and very exiting (even to the non-cricket lovers who watched). Some of what transpired was to me "insane" like stoke needing 6 runs but getting only 2 and diving over the crease, accidentally hitting the ball mid-air to go for another 4.

They tied the game and went to a final over to decide it.

I was hiding behind the sofa!
