Taylor Mullins at Holter Pickguards does great work. I'm sure others will agree. I have his email somewhere but you can reach him through reverb.

I had him custom make a pickguard for a 12 fret 00-42 and it came out perfect. [email protected] |

Taylor Mullins again. He has made me Martin guards, J45 tear drops, as well as J50 Batwings.
He is not cheap, but the guards are first rate.

Just one more endorsement for Taylor Mullins at Holter Pickguards. He's made several pickguards for me over the last few years, and he's actually making one for me right now! Highly recommend him!

This is the pickguard I just received for my Eastman E10OM TC. Taylor can send you templates to print out at home and can play with the fit.
His customer service is excellent, on my other guitar I stuck mine crooked and had to pull it off. Taylor offered to reglue it for me and ship it back no charge. Untitled by Josh, on Flickr Untitled by Josh, on Flickr Untitled by Josh, on Flickr |

I've never bought any pickguards from Taylor, but have had a couple of email exchanges with him. By all accounts he's a good guy who does good work.
That said, it would be remiss if we let this thread continue without at least pointing out that tortoiseshell plastic intended for pickguards can be purchased in sheets and cut to any shape you want: ˙˙˙ https://www.stewmac.com/Materials_an...hoCCQAQAvD_BwE That particular image is from the Stewart-MacDonald website, but any number of retailers sell sheets of pickguard material, so there's plenty to choose from. ...already in process with Taylor...his rep is well deserved...I could have purchased some sheet stock and probably pulled it off myself but it’s a premium instrument so I wanted a really nice pick guard for it...

Another enthusiastic endorsement for Taylor Mullins. He just made two more guards for me, and he's made at least a half dozen in total. Great work, excellent customer experience. He's made guards for my dreads, OM/000, and even helped me create a custom guard for my daughter's 12-fret 00, which was based on photos I sent him of vintage Gibson L-00 12-fret guitars.
As for price, I don't find his prices expensive, when you consider the quality of the product (color, thickness, beveled, and polished) and personal attention to detail. Like many things, you get what you pay for.
