Default New original: The Yankee Clipper

Okay, here's one for the baseball fans!

This is a song I wrote for a competition. The theme was "baseball" and pretty much open beyond that. So, this song is a fictitious tale. It's a story of what COULD have happened if Joe DiMaggio had played one last game at the age of 84, the year he died. In this story, Joe is asked to play in an all-star game, and the rest is history...

Well done! Imagine a guy at 84 years of age hitting a ball out of the park into the cheap seats. If only... He sure was a great ball player.
