The Preakness - What a Race!
I am a bit disappointed that the media coverage of the Preakness has been short and to the point, but boy howdy, was that a race????
The favorite and challenger disappearing into a heavy fog head to head, and coming out of the final turn, still in a heavy fog, the favorite and the challenger begin to fatigue in the muddy track and here come not one but two long-shots attempting to take the lead as the pack emerges from mist thundering toward the finish line. Epic race.

The field was closing fast at the end of the Preakness, the Belmont is 1/4 mile longer, 1 1/2 mile total, then we'll see which horse can "do it all"! There isn't much question about being a good "mudder"!

Due to the short time between races and the addition of fresh horses to the field this is where a great horse proves itself. I'm just hoping track condition is perfect.
