Gorgeous ebony on that OM and very nice playing Steve. I'm glad I had the opportunity to see and play it at B.I.G. I'm surprised that one made it home with you. It would make someone's Christmas merrier for sure.

Thanks to you too, Doug. Actually, that guitar came back with us only so we could correct a finish glitch on the peghead. It then went out to its new owner’s home just hours after we recorded this. It arrived today and is acclimating to its new home. And you know the new owner—perhaps he’ll give a review if he checks in on this thread?

A video to get you in the Christmas (non-working) spirit.

Lovely, I saw this guitar in person, just before it was strung up. The bear claw is like no other I have ever seen and that Spanish Cedar is mesmerizingly beautiful.

Thanks for the fun video Steve. It sounds great.

Thanks for watching!
Oh my. That's extraordinary. Rich, buttery, but clear as a bell.

Ah Tom, thanks for dropping by, both in person and online!
Glad you liked that goofy video.

Thanks.
Joel showed me pics of this guitar yesterday on your Facebook page. That Spanish Cedar is just out of this world! I've never seen any that's even remotely close to it in chatoyance and figure. It's mystifying!
I'm having a love affair with Spanish Cedar for other reasons. I'm using it for inner sides, linings, bevel blocks, and even back braces. And I've made a few necks with it too. But I've never run across any that is visually special enough for backs and sides. I hope you guys have more of it, because I'd love to see what else you can do with it!
And don't get me started about the Bearclaw Sitka! That's got to be one in a million too. I've never seen such densely and evenly distributed 'claw figure, EVER.

That is one over-the-top, outstanding guitar! Congratulations, guys. I'm continually in awe of your work.

Beautiful festive playing Steve, and thank you for giving me an excuse to take a break from work!

That Spanish Cedar is something else! Happy Holidays to you, Ryan and your families.

Another thread to add to the "Masters List" something I show to folks who have looked at my attempts at guitar building and for the most part thought they were good/nice, whatever.

I thank them and say if you really want to see what is possible you better sit down because what you are about to see will blow you mind. This guitar is a BIG add to the list.
