Gorgeous ebony on that OM and very nice playing Steve. I'm glad I had the opportunity to see and play it at B.I.G. I'm surprised that one made it home with you. It would make someone's Christmas merrier for sure.

Lovely, I saw this guitar in person, just before it was strung up. The bear claw is like no other I have ever seen and that Spanish Cedar is mesmerizingly beautiful.
Thanks for the fun video Steve. It sounds great.

Oh my. That's extraordinary. Rich, buttery, but clear as a bell.

I'm having a love affair with Spanish Cedar for other reasons. I'm using it for inner sides, linings, bevel blocks, and even back braces. And I've made a few necks with it too. But I've never run across any that is visually special enough for backs and sides. I hope you guys have more of it, because I'd love to see what else you can do with it! And don't get me started about the Bearclaw Sitka! That's got to be one in a million too. I've never seen such densely and evenly distributed 'claw figure, EVER. That is one over-the-top, outstanding guitar! Congratulations, guys. I'm continually in awe of your work.

Another thread to add to the "Masters List" something I show to folks who have looked at my attempts at guitar building and for the most part thought they were good/nice, whatever.
I thank them and say if you really want to see what is possible you better sit down because what you are about to see will blow you mind. This guitar is a BIG add to the list. |
