Here we go....
Well, here is how we spend a Friday afternoon in Texas...Don't worry too much, the shotgun shell is a wine corker, I had heard a rumor once that some people don't drink the whole bottle once opened so I bought this a while back...hmmm, just a second... "honey, have we ever used this"???? Nope.

I made the mistake of showing this picture to my wife.
I believe I'm going to have to buy a second Emerald in order to get a mug for myself

This thread is a perfect example of what is so good about the Carbon Fiber sub-forum: playing some fine guitars and having fun with friends!
Oh, and mugs. |

Mug-less here too. I still have the guitar it didn't come with though.

I've bought two Emeralds new (third one one order!) so I did own two at one time. But when I sold the select series X7 I had bought I elected to include the mug that came with it since I already had another one and figure it was the right thing to do!

We think a lot alike; I sent mine to Howlin Bob when he bought my X7.

Saturday morning coffee talk, AGF surfing and X20 playing, naturally!

Poor Earl, I just couldn’t let the mug go as I like to drink Irish breakfast tea most mornings! Of course, I only had the one so that made it easier to justify, at least to me.

No worries, Dave. We have a pair - the one that came with my X20-12, and the one that came with Alice's bubinga woody X7. We're good, and I would have suggested you keep the mug anyway. I use my mug every day. While I would like to say it gets used for sipping Guinness, really it is mostly a water glass for taking my daily pills.
BTW, I finally changed the SCGC Low Tension strings that you put on X20 before selling. They showed no signs of corrosion, but the E and A strings were well past dead after seven months and multiple tunings up and down for slack-key. Strings 1-4 were still ok, just so you know.
