first, welcome to the Forum.
What’s not to love. I picked up a new old stock (2011) STONEBRIDGE OM33SR Deep body, with the aged top. Very impressive volume and tone. Never played a Furch I did not like.

From what I understand the official reason they stopped doing the Bio-aged tops was because they were having a cosmetic issue with them. It basically made the tops look dirty and soiled (I think this is true of all the torrefied top guitars). Unofficially, there were some reports of the aged top guitars sounding like they seized up and sounded less vibrant after a while. I have not experienced this. I also had had a Stonebridge D33SR with the aged top (The one that got away) and it was a stellar guitar.
