C'mon, now, I told you not to look. See what you've gone and done? This one's on you. I warned you.

We also have a really cool black triangle at 1.0 mm. This material will go straight up against Vespel or anything else you wanna throw at it. And it's virtually indestructible.

And here's something we're really proud of. In five years of business we've never charged a nickel for shipping. Every order, every day -- FREE SHIPPING!!!
We think it's bunk that someone plays bait-and-switch with you at checkout. Really? For something that doesn't WEIGH ANYTHING? You have my word. We will never play that game with you.

Come on over and check us out. There's a reason we've had a buzz around our company for five years now -- with not a dime spent on advertising https://www.charmedlifepicks.com/online-store

Thanks for Reading.

Thanks to all our friends at AGF for your continued support and patronage. We had a record month in April, a strong one in May, and June is busting wide open. We waited a long time to get the speed bevel thing right, and people have noticed.

Thanks Again,
Scott

Here's an example of the kind of over-the-top response we're getting to these new models. This is part of an email I received about a week ago:

Hello Scott, received the picks Friday. They arrived in good shape. Appreciate all the good info that was enclosed with them too. Your truly passionate about what you do and it shows.

I get a much better tone from your picks than RB and being they are the same material, that puzzles me. Yours are much warmer, less bright and not thin like RB can be. CL picks play WAY better, very smooth, little drag and beautifully finished. As far as the speed bevel goes, as good or better than BC. That was my biggest concern. And I feel this is where your time put in really shows and you hit it out of the park Scott. Well done.

The ntf-1.40 is probably my favorite pick I’ve ever played. EVER!!! So that was a home run. I love everything about that pick and hve nothing bad to say about. Nothing can make it better. Perfect bevel. I think the bevel on it is superior than the other two picks I purchased from you and as a result is likely why I haven’t played the other picks enough.

Here's that model. It's the number #1 selling triangle in our company, and always has been.

After two weeks, we're still not completely caught up, but at least can put our head above ground. If you've never played a top-quality casein pick, you're in for a real treat.

NOW WITH SPEED BEVELS!
We are always running behind. Right now we have a limited number of models with speed bevels. They will go fast. Jump on it if you see one you like.

Our Store: https://www.charmedlifepicks.com/online-store

FREE SHIPPING: And we never charge for freight. Frankly, we think it's pretty insulting to people to charge $5.00 freight for something that doesn't weigh anything. Or, as our competitors call it: "Another profit center." Sorry, we're not into bait and switch. No surprises at checkout. What you see is what you get.

BTW, not to be outdone, our black line of high-end thermoset engineering plastic goes straight up against Vespel. Put it to the test. Guarantee you won't be disappointed.

Our Store: https://www.charmedlifepicks.com/online-store

Stay Safe & Healthy,
Scott

Default Vespel Polyimide Picks Now in Stock & Shipping!

It's been a long, circuitous, twisting journey, but beginning today we are re-introducing our very popular Charmed Life Brown Series. These picks are fabricated from a legendary pick material -- DuPont Vespel po lyimide -- which, last time I checked, is still the most expensive plastic on the planet. Very few are brave or stupid enough to venture into these exhorbitant waters, but we've been working with this material for five years now and have figured out a way to make a nickel (but not much more than a nickel). It's a awesome material, and we're thrilled to welcome it back into the family.

It has been almost a year since the line came off our website, so it will take us a while to ramp up production again. However, we DO have a number of picks on the shelf that we haven't had a chance to display on our website. We will also be offering speed bevels, grip holes, and a number of other features as the line grows. If you're looking for something you don't see on the site, please email us directly at charmedlifepicks @ gmail and we'll get back to you.

THIN PICKS: We call ourselves the "thin pick specialists." We service a largely-ignored demographic -- the millions of guitarists who play picks under 1.0 mm. For example, the model pictured above, the clt-75, is the thinnest high-performance triangle in the industry. At a mere .75 mm thick, it will wipe the floor with anything out there and not even break a sweat. It is the most popular triangle in our company.

In teardrops, we go all the way down to .60 mm. (I don't have this model up on the website yet. Been too slammed. Write me if interested.)

More to follow.

Thanks for Reading.

As we get up to speed on our Vespel offerings, we'll be offering grip holes on many models, both teardrop and triangle (as pictured below). This was a very popular feature before we temporarily ceased production, about a year ago.

Got some thicker ones (1.25-1.50 mm range) with grip holes and speed bevels. Looking like mid-November right now. Write me if interested in being on a wait list.

Oh, the stories we could tell....

It has been a long, circuitous, twisting journey, but beginning today -- after almost a years' absence -- we are re-introducing our very popular Charmed Life Brown Series. These picks are machined (not injection-molded) from a legendary stock material -- genuine DuPont Vespel polyimide thermoset plastic -- which, last time I checked, is still the most expensive plastic on the planet. This time around we'll have extra goodies, like speed bevels on most models:

It's amazing stuff -- amazingly, ridiculously absurdly overpriced stuff. Very few are brave or stupid enough to venture into these exhorbitant waters, but we're just stupid enough to do it -- again. we've been working with this material for five years now and have figured out a way to make a nickel (but not much more than a nickel) out of it. It's an awesome material, and we're thrilled to welcome it back into the CLP family.

It has been almost a year since the line came off our website, so it will take us a while to ramp up production again. We're loaded to the gills for the holidays. But don't hesitate. We just came off being closed for two full weeks, and still haven't caught up with orders. Chances are we'll be closing again within a week.

Our Store: https://www.charmedlifepicks.com/online-store

We are the ONLY company in the world that makes genuine DuPont Vespel polyimide picks under 1.0 mm. I guarantee these will rock your world.

Our Store: https://www.charmedlifepicks.com/online-store

The number #1 selling pick in our company is our little .75 mm Vespel triangle. But don't let it's small size fool you. It will kill tail on anything you own under .80 mm, guaranteed. We won't have enough of these to last through the end of the year. Don't hesitate.

Thanks to Maury from Maury's Guitars for this incredible clip of him playing the clt-75.

We are entering our sixth year in business, all of those years as a paying Sponsor here on AGF. The first week of this month was the busiest single week in our history. We had to close our store for two weeks. We just reopened our store on Sunday, and in 48 hours have done more than that first week. Just crazy.

A lot of this has to do with our reintrodoction of charmed life brown -- our genuine DuPont Vespel models. Sales have skyrocketed.

We'll do our best to keep at least a portion of our store open through the end of the month. If you're planning on giving a CLP pick as a holiday gift, please order ASAP. Our very popular artisan flame casein line (pictured below) is currently running a three- to four-week lead time. We will probably have to shut this line down for the year in December.d

We're having a lot of fun with the reintroduction of our Vespel (charmed life brown) line. Sales have immediately gone through the roof.

If I live to be 1000, I will never understand why other high-end pick vendors refuse to make thinner picks. What is this about? The Fender Medium, at .73 mm, is the most popular pick in the world. You would think that most high-performance pick manufacturers would make a pick in that range -- but you would be wrong. We're the only ones.

The most popular pick in our entire catalog is a genuine DuPont Vespel polyimide triangle, at a mere .75 mm. Folks, this will smoke any tri in the world under .90 mm. It just will. That's why it's our #1 seller. (Direct link to this model: https://www.charmedlifepicks.com/pro...ge/clt-75-blem)

For those who find a standard large triangle a little too unwieldy, we've introduced a slightly smaller version of this pick, with slightly more rounded edges as well. At two millimeters smaller all the way around, this puts it about mid-distance between a teardrop and a tri, so you get the best of both worlds -- the larger "footprint" and control of a triangle, with the lightness and smaller size of a teardrop. It is another very popular seller for us. (Direct link to this model on our site: https://www.charmedlifepicks.com/product-page/clst-75ss)

BTW, if you ever figure out why other high-end pick makers refuse to make picks under 1.0 mm, would you please write me? We're in business six years and I'm still mystifiied.

Hello Scott,

For me personally, I love thin pics! I think a thick pic just deadens the sound of the guitar, but on all the threads regarding this, most people do seem to like a thicker pick. I, like you, can't figure this out. I like a clean, fast response with a clear tone and that is what a thin pick seems to give me.

Glad you are selling so many, let the world rejoice in the the thin pick!
