Strat and Tele, two different animals to be sure.

Noise is one thing I don't like about most Fender stuff.

I now have a Deluxe Strat with N3 noiseless pickups. It's not bad.

Had the Deluxe Tele, Deluxe Strat, pair in the past. Early 2000's I think.

Used the Tele on one track I think. The Strat never made it onto one of my tracks.

I tend to like Leo era G&L's for single coil tones. G&L's are much quieter.
