I might suggest trying a Yamaha LJ36.

I have a Taylor PS18e in Sitka and Cocobolo which is the best sounding Taylor that I have ever played. I have it on consignment to finance an incoming purchase but I am kind of hoping it doesn’t sell.

I have to agree! My Brad Goodman J-185 is light and responsive….loads of bottom end…great for Fingerstyle or strumming. Excellent builder, excellent guitars….fit and finish is superb!

I own three Larrivees including an LV 12 string, an LSV 6 string and a parlor. All three are top shelf.
Did not want to read this. I've caught the 12 string bug (Guild f112). My Yairi 6 lives in dbl drop D. I really think my quality of life would improve if I had a big 12 for that tuning. I'm not in the market for a new guitar. I'm not in the market for a new guitar (used and broken I am).

I made the mistake of listening to the Goodall Jumbo Koa....OMG.... even on YouTube is sounds beautiful....

I am headed down to Atlanta this month, so I will stop in at Maple Street Guitars as it's just a little walk down the street from where I work. They carry some nice stuff there, but no jumbo's that I see in inventory...

If I may, allow me to through in the Takamine GJ72CE. I own the 6 and 12 string versions.

The 12 string is bright like you would expect a 12 string to be. The 6 string doesn't have the bottom end that my Takamine GD93 has. But all of my dreads have more bottom end.

I attribute that to the maple back and sides of the GJ72CE. All of my dreads have backs and sides of walnut or mahogany.
