Default K. Yairi GF 350 yard sale score

I got this classical guitar, hand crafted by K. Yairi, in a yard sale today. Can anyone tell me anything about it? I have 3 Alvarez Yairi acoustics but this is not an Alvarez.

I found out it’a a Flamenco guitar. Possibly 1972. Not sure yet.

The flamencos are fairly rare IIRC. Nice catch!

I can’t find another one online. The closest I can find is a 250 which is basically the same guitar but of solid wood construction. This one appears to be solid cedar top and solid cypress sides with a cypress laminate back.

The Japanese makers of that time commonly named their models to correlate with then current cost of the guitar itself. The all-solid 250 may well be an earlier model, which would explain its more expensive construction and its lower number.
