Last November I went shopping for a Martin 000 and came home with a 000-18. Other 000's have a little more or less of this or that but the 18 has best balance for my ears. It's elegance is in it's simplicity.

Those are still being made and are sold through Elderly Instruments. But since that one doesn't appear on your list, I voted for the Clapton model.

I think 000-28H which is from custom shop.

I voted for the 000-28VS because I have a 00-28VS and there is only one 0 difference

I voted 000-18 Golden Era 1937 as it is closest to the Martin I own and love.

000-28VS

I've got the 00 version and would likely add the 000 if I didn't already have that bass covered (pun intended) in another 000-12fret.

One of the great modern Martins for sure.

While I own and love a 000-15, (which also falls in the inbetween land of 000/OM confusion) I voted for the 000-18GE. If I could only own one guitar, the 18GE would be it because it offers a very unique balance of playability, volume, projection, feel, and vintage appointments that speaks right to me. I still can't believe how much you can dig into that guitar without it breaking up. I guess that is the adirondack top or black magic, but either way it is a phenomenal instrument. If they made it with the Performance neck or low oval, I would sell a kidney for one right now...

Cool Favorite Martin 000

I really like the look of my 000C Nylon 12-fret for several reasons. It has a great looking soundboard with fabulous silking, and a distinctive rosette, and the sapelle back & sides has very nice grain. Almost forgot, it sounds great!

I also have a nice looking 000 Custom (Limited Edition) with an abalone rosette and style 45 back strip purfling, and also sounds pretty good, as well. I gave it to my grandson to use, as I'm teaching him to play. He likes it better than the dread he was using.

Love everything about my 000 28VS. It is a custom shop instrument with Adirondack top, solid peg head, and a cutaway. Love this thing more every year. I doubt that I would ever find a reason to part with it - it is just too good.

000-18 is best known for its balance.
Which 18 did you get? (00018GE or standard 00018)

000-28L here .
I can't imagine a more balanced sound from a guitar .
A little bit of everything and no extra of any of it .
