Well I would have jumped into this chorus of praises on this beauty but have been out of town "beaching" for the last week. WOW...Truly gorgeous from every perspective. I love every aspect of it. That sinker is just to die for.

Thanks for sharing! I personally think all of us would enjoy seeing more of your work!! Bring it!!!!

Mercy! How pretty is that!
Well-deserved Kudos, and plenteous attaboys!

(That peghead inlay has me shaking my head in disbelief...)

Thanks Steve.

Pearl works really knocked it out of the park. The precision is remarkable.

Absolutely the most stunning Sinker Redwood top I have ever seen!

Under finish this one really pops. And as most have said, the peghead inlay ... oh my! Congrats on a beautiful instrument.

This is a stunning instrument and the peghead inlay is absolutely amazing in its detail and intricacy.

Owning a Morrissey and visiting his first shop, I can tell you his work is incredibly clean and precise as was his shop. I even posted pictures of his shop as it was amazingly organized. I wondered how he even built anything there as it was so clean hahaha!

Thanks for the kind words. That Sinker Redwood was a special one for sure.

Thanks for following,

Patrick

Hi Tom,

That was an enjoyable day when you visited. And I don't know what you mean - my shop gets messy. Just yesterday there were sandpaper sheets with the grits all out of order, my boys had moved my tape dispensers - it was chaos.

Thanks for following along

Patrick

Hello my old friends - if you missed my sneaky post earlier in this thread, I am the lucky owner of this guitar. When I get a moment I’ll drop some more info and details about this cool guitar and how accommodating Patrick was to make this a reality. I had some strange ideas . It was definitely a special project to commemorate the birth of my son Brayden.

Also, I have been following and saw the requests for sound clips. We recently moved and I don’t have my studio gear set up yet but once I get settled I’ll see about getting some nice recordings of this thing.

Thanks!

I'm late to the party here, but Wow, that is gorgeous. Especially loving the spalted maple purfling!

Default Morrissey Build/Ziricote/Sinker Redwood/Video recording

Hello everyone,

I finally finished the editing of the recording we did for this guitar at the "Record Co." in Boston. A great recording space. Ira Klein is an amazing musician - a Berkley Grad, so of course. And sound engineer, John Escobar was outstanding.

Thanks to Ira and John.

And of course many thanks to Dylan for letting me hold onto his guitar to do the recording.

Patrick
