I'm guessing the OP isn't a thumb over player. Those guys get super picky about necks.

Not too different from my "collection": old Ibanez with slim C, Strat with slim V, and a partscaster with a seriously hefty neck.

Same observation about the necks steering me in different directions, too.

I don't get hung up about the neck width. Doesn't seem to make any difference to me.

For the most part it doesn't matter that much to me either. I do have some things that I don't like such as a 1 and 7/8ths neck width. Allot of the discussion here on neck profiles isn't something I care to discuss or comment on as my opinion isn't that thoughtful.
