Default Martin SP vs Martin lifespan 2.0?

Both come to the new version, which will be your favourite?

Lifespan for me.
Great sound and longevity.

Plus 1 for Lifespan. I don't wear out strings quickly, but I still like them for their extended life. For most of my guitars they sound much better than Elixers - of course just my ear and my opinion.

I just put a set of the Lifespan 2.0 (the ones some of us got for 3 sets for the price of 1 set at regular price) on my Esteban "guitar" and amazingly the guitar sounds pretty OK now.

The strings mellowed out very quickly and they have a strong bass, although they are light gauge (12-54) and I generally am used to 13-56s.

So I am very happy with these. And I have still five more sets.
