So are Carbon fiber guitar makers who do not adopt the new CF source.

I agree, this is an AWESOME thread.
This thread demonstrates how new technology can be used to improve musical instrument building and still reduce costs. I suspect even Captain Jim is learning something from these posts. By saying nothing these posts say everything.

I find the thread itself quite bizarre.

Another thing to note regarding this tree it also produces a nut which ammunition companies have found when harvested the nuts are all the same size and fits a 40 caliber casing perfectly. They are armor piercing and reusable if found in the field. Another win, win

Now you are getting silly. The nut diameter is only 9 mm, they are not reusable, and they cannot pierce armor. At best, they will fit a Glock. Sig Sauer does not recommend their use in their firearms.

hmmm I wonder whether guitar buzzing (snoring) is due to sleep apnea (and not to excessively low action) Eatswodo, Thats a good point. Thank you. Forget the luthier, I'm sending my X30 to a sleep doctor.

Thanks for pointing that out for me. I guess it's a good thing that I have a 9mm conversion barrel for my Glock 23

I'm pretty sure that some cultivation and proper fertilization could produce a strain that makes .451" nuts.

Here we go--arguing about nut width, again. Some conversaions just never end.

My fingers bend in a slightly strange way. A bigger nut seems to help me not to mute strings that I want ringing.

This just in: due to increased demand for "carbon fiber plant outlets," where the CFPA (Carbon Fiber Plant Growers Association) will be opening at least 3 outlets per country to promote the use of carbon fiber plants, including doing a set-up on already purchased plants (arranging them within the planter and trimming them to individual customer desire), any savings that would have been passed on to the carbon fiber building industry have been negated. "Crazy overhead increases that even I should have seen coming," as explained by Lou Ser, president of the CFPGA.

Aw, don't be bummed. Even you should be able to enjoy some humor. Just more good stuff to be learned on this forum.
