Tonewood Amp with Rainsong

I noticed that the magnet is not as strong compared wood. Anyone else who got this device observed the same thing?

I had my tone woods in my Shorty and never had any issues once I found “the” spot. Was a lot of fun playing around with it. I never used it on wood so I can’t tell if there was a difference.
