Thanks Man! You just never know what you find when you dig through your wood stash. I had completely forgotten about this piece.

Hey forum folks, I’m thrilled to have been invited to join the Boutique Guitar Showcase again this year. I’ve decided to build a maple/spruce cutaway. This guitar will travel through Europe and across the U.S this summer, stopping in at high end shops along the way, and will be on display at summer NAMM.

Here’s the back..... this piece of maple is so inspiring to work with.

Any chance of knowing where and when the guitar will during its tour? I would
Love to take a ‘short’ trip to see it.

Hi dion - I would be interested to hear a bit about your approach to top bracing. The pattern on the first guitar in this thread looked interesting. I don’t really know anything about bracing by the way except for the looks of Martin-ish for steel and Torres-esque for nylon.

Thanks for sharing!

John

Hey Jeff,

I don’t think the tour details have been released yet. But if you keep an eye on their website you’ll be in the know. I’d love for you to be able to check this one out!
