What a beautiful guitar. Really lovely work.

Is this your first winter on Fogo? Hope it’s been inspiring.

Best,
Tom

Thanks, Tom! Yes, it is my first winter on Fogo. It has been inspiring at times and other times I've felt completely isolated. It's the nature of living on a rock off of a rock where everything closes down for the winter, I suppose.

This beauty is strung up and will be shipped out early next week, heading to Dream Guitars before it's final destination to it's new owner. It has a beautiful, lush sound, built for DADGAD. Dream Guitars will be doing a video and I will post here when that's up and ready to view!

Peggy,
That is a beautiful looking and sounding guitar! Of course, Al does work some magic. But what wonderful work you’ve done. Thank you for sharing it with us.
I’m curious about the guitar being specifically voiced for Dadgad. Does that mean the bracing is altered in some way, or that adjustments are made to maximize the resonance and sustain to optimize the drone notes that often play a prominent role in music of that genre? I’m sorry if this seems like an elementary question but I’m a relative newbie to guitar and just started my altered tuning journey.
Thanks,
Tom
