Gorgeous! It will be great seeing more pictures as the build progresses. We can see already, however, that we're looking at a very special guitar. Congratulations!

It is a beautiful guitar - if it'll sound as good as it looks, you'll be so happy.

Yummy yummy! Man that looks sweet...It's like a Heinz 57 commercial eh Rick?

Hey Greg are you puttiing on a heel cap plate, or leaving it as is? It actually looks pretty nice showing the laminate neck woods at the heel...another fine Gwaltney soon to be on its way to Joe's

Greg had compared the sound with one and two soundports and was sold on two; two gives quite a surround sound effect in my experience. Greg?

Yeah, heel cap will go on, like Rick said coco/maple. These pics show work in progress, still some shaping to do and I haven't even touched the neck joint.

Thanks........ A surprising experiment that led me to do some blind listening tests with willing participants who ended up hearing what I heard thus the double soundport was born.....though I must say that I have since found examples of classical guitar builders who were already using dual ports in almost the exact same location I am currently using.....no stone seemingly unturned in the luthiery world!
