WTTF: Gibson Acoustic

I've decided that the one guitar missing that I have wanted but never acquired is a Gibson acoustic. My preference lies with something in the SJ200/Hummingbird type (larger bodied guitars), but am open to listen. Guitar must be in excellent condition with no major blems or repairs.

As for trade fodder from my end, any guitar listed in my signature below is available for the right deal.

I assume you've checked reverb?

The SJ-200 is a remarkable instrument. I hope you find one!

It's funny, but after over a half century of playing I'm also looking for that Gibson sound again. Back when I came in, anybody decent had a J50 or C&W or SJ with those weird pickguards and great smell when you opened the case. I've owned a couple over the years, never held onto them, but have come to a whole new appreciation. Good luck finding yours....Robert

Thanks! Yes...looked at Reverb, but since I'm only considering a trade at this point, Reverb doesn't take kindly to buyers/sellers talking "trade" for a listing on their site....I got called out by Reverb a few months ago when I brought up a trade to a seller and I got an email from Reverb telling discussion on trades was frowned upon and the seller could be penalized if trade talks are conducted. I've got my ways, though, should I see something that I think makes sense.

Keeping my eyes (and my options) open!
