Cool using larger gauge strings

I've an Emerald X20-12 that I am thinking about using for slide. Currently I have D'Addario EJ37 (12-54's) on it and am wondering if I can increase the string gauge. Can the Emerald tolerate the increased tension without any problems? Is anyone else playing slide on their CF 12 string and if so, what gauge strings are you using?

Sounds like a great question for Simon@Emerald....
