So sorry to hear about your wife's medical situation. Let her know that there are a bunch of CF guitar players sending good vibes your way. Take care of her and yourself.

Music can be healing and lift spirits.

Jwellsy

Hang in there. This is part of what it means "for better or worse." I've found that as often as not better comes after worse and they can both contribute to the kind of bonding that many people can only dream about.

When my wife went in for a complete shoulder replacement I got to stay in the same hospital room for her whole stay. I took my 10 with me and when she would grow tired I would start playing some soft music and put her to sleep (I can do that with an audience also). Anyway, by the time we left the hospital I had written a great instrumental (if I say so myself).

She healed, plays tennis, and still goes to sleep when I play the guitar. I wish you and your loved one well.

Thanks for all the well wishes and prayers, that stuff all helps! She's recovering slowly but steadily.

On a brighter note Alistair posted some pics on facebook of the Emerald Ruby Cross on 10/2/18. That post has already had 2877 likes and 435 shares.

What a stunning instrument! Congratulations on knowing what you want and going for it. There's only one of these in the universe.
