The MFD pickups are amazing - a sort of P90 character but quieter! I imagine the staggered Z-coils will be even quieter still as I understand that was the theory behind the idea - like the P-bass pickup.

If I was after another Strat-style guitar a G&L would be top of the list. I tried a couple at a trade show some years back and loved them both!

Yes I do like it a lot However it is a P-90 Tele and am still thinking if I do decided to get a Strat style it would likely be a Comanche

Don't think you could go wrong either way.

I will say that the Comanche with the z-coils is something different, and in a very good way.
