Being an ex-pat from East Tennessee living in the mid-Atlantic, I'd move back to the foothills of the Smokies in a heartbeat.

I'm in Florida and if I could I'd move (back) to the Western Caroline Islands, specifically Yap. Or, perhaps to Palau. But, I have a family whose ideas conflict with my own so Florida it is till curtain call.

Moving to Nova Scotia next summer, after my new home is built with the ocean as my backyard .

As for me, I live in Canada and I'd move to the US (I lived there for a few years already). Probably north east coast, perhaps Maine just to keep out of the hustle bustle of the big cities.

I live in the USA. I'd go to Canada, if they don't build a wall to keep us out, of course. (My father was born in New Brunswick, and was a naturalized US citizen).

USA (Florida) ---> Canada, probably Nova Scotia. We've visited NS twice and love it.

I'm a Canadian ex-pat married to a U.S. citizen (with a dual citizenship kid). I've been thinking a lot about moving back to Canada (although not to where I spent most of my time - to the interior of BC instead - Kamloops/Kelowna).

I've also always been intrigued by New Zealand, especially when I was still sailing. More sheep than people (it used to be 20:1, and is now 7:1) - no snarky remarks please.

Of course not! What do you think we are, Australians?

Late to the party, Rich, but I agree with ADK... Nova Scotia - both the south and Cape Breton Isle - were amazing. Songsters on every corner and 2-table pizza joint, beautiful scenery, not crowded. Can't wait to go back.

I’ve shoveled or blown snow for the last 37 winters! I’d move to Panama, or a least stay for the winter, if only my spouse would. We’re retired now and she’s holding to “I’ve lived in the US for 70 years and I ain’t movin’ now”. Guess I’ll be getting that shovel and snow-blower out again this November

USA--->Australia. I would miss cold-weather Christmases though.

It would have to be a forced decision for me to leave Massachusetts, but if that’s the case then I’d choose either the British Virgin Islands or Vancouver Island.

I’ve made my move already. I grew up in Wales, went to uni and worked in England but 14 years ago I moved to Australia and I’m not going anywhere else now.

Chrissy arvo we fire up the barby and the kiddies open their Chrissy pressies,
The missus cooks a couple of chooks and we drink a few coldies with the rellies.

On the afternoon of Christmas Day we turn on the BBQ and our children open their Christmas presents (gifts).
My wife roasts 2 chickens and we drink cold beer with our relatives.

It would totally depend on why I was moving. For food & drink - France. For SCUBA diving - maybe Australia. To avoid extradition.............The Republic of The Marshall Islands. Island living with no extradition. Catch me if you can.
