Default Help identifying a Yamaha acoustic

Some one is selling a Yamaha acoustic, that I'm interested in, locally in the town I live in. No information is given other than 2 photos. I was wondering if anyone could tell me the model number going by the pics. The binding on the neck, the gold tuners, the sound hole tag, the purfling around the sound hole, and the bridge shape is what intrigued me. They want $120. Worth it? Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Well it looks to me to be a grey guitar with blue lettering near the middle...

'Darn photobucket.'

I guess photobucket doesn't allow 3rd party hosting without paying anymore.

Really hard to tell; there have been so many variations on the FG theme that I wouldn't even try to guess. The label isn't current, and neither is the shape of the bridge. That's the extent of the 'help' you get from me, sorry!

Isn't that headstock inlay the symbol for the old Eterna Line?

Not as far as I am aware; the pickguard and headstock shape are also different. Headstock is Martinesque on the Eterna, with no 'dip'.

First, it's in the town you live in....... go look at it. Second, at $120 (or less if they'll haggle) you can't really go wrong. Get on down the road and play/look at it.

Yeah I've been trying to contact them, but no answer. I've looked at thousands of images of all types of Yamaha acoustics, but haven't found one with all these appointments. Maybe I'm wrong, but I always assumed that that leaf inlay in the middle of the headstock made it an affordable model. Although this one looks nice.

Bound fretboard, gold Grovers, abalone ring. Its worth at least the asking price. If its an FG line, its top of the line.

It'll be the equivalent of the FG830S but without the scalloped bracing.
