Default Jim Hurst Gallagher signature model

I've been looking at videos of Jim Hurst playing on his Signature Gallagher guitar. Fine singer and excellent player. His signature Gallagher model sounds just great. Of course, he is an artist with the guitar and like any great player could probably make just about any decent guitar sound good. There are some reviews and YouTube videos on regarding the signature guitar--but not very many that I could find. There are more on the Doc Watson model. So I'm wondering what some of you that have heard this guitar and actually played it have to say about this model. I would like someday to get a mahogany dreadnought that I could strum, do a bit of flat picking and also finger style. Thanks in advance.

I have met Jim a couple of times and heard his guitar up close and personal. He certainly makes good sounds come out of it .

Rather than 'someday', OP could buy a Yamaha dread and enjoy the dreadnought experience right now.
