Default "How To" Video: Makes Me Wonder About Gibson

Suppose you were a true newbie guitar owner and had never restrung an acoustic guitar. Think you could figure out what Mister Clean was doing at the tuner posts by watching this video? Embarrassing. Why bother producing something this useless, when there are dozens of amateurish but very useful such demo videos out on YouBoob?

Not only that, but he spilled cool-aid all over that guitar.

This one is great since it also includes a 12-string.

Difficult for me to be too "smart" about this as I made a similar video a year ago, with my wife holding my single ZoomQ4 camera and you will see that we made a similar mistake in showing the back of my hand but not the detail of winding the string around the tuner capstan.

If I hadn't recently restrung this guitar, I'd do another.
Gibson's video is somewhat as amateurish as mine and in trying to (not) show three differing winding methods I feel it serves to confuse.

However kudos to him for pointing out that the simple plastic Dunlop winders DO have a slot for removing the bridge pins.
