For "cover' songs, I'm working with Tim Buckley's "Strange Feeling" and Laura Nyro's classic, "Sweet Blindness"...
I have one of my own tunes that's reached the point of "critical mass" in the songwriting process; with verses and a solid chorus, I'm dealing with a bridge that ties it all together... this is the part of songwriting that is a bit touchy, as I don't feel that "forcing' something yields good results... so, I just keep messing with it, playing it and feeling it, letting that new section "come alive"...
