Default Deadbeat Dad - Country Tune

Got a title for it now. Shortened it up a bit.

Very neat, knuckle. Your song lyrics are always entertaining and insightful; always a twist of humor and reflection. Good stuff!

Thanks for sharing with us.

Nice Job. Dark, but life ain't all daisies and pixie dust.

In the chorus, my ear sorted of wanted to hear

"Stayin in the middle is the best you can do"

and then

"You lost the best things, but you never knew"

Just an idea, but I think that will make those lines flow with the other lines in the chorus and then again at the end of the song.

Nice job on a GOOD song, you have a cool playing and vocal style. (no cellphone ringing like an engine this time ) Like I said, Chris Knight meets John Prine and them boys is country!!

That an original? If so it might be your best yet. The vocals have improved vastly in the past year. And the guitar has always been rock solid. Nice!
