Default SOLD 2014 Simon Fay Model One 24" Scale (German/Cocobolo)

UPDATE SOLD.
Selling my beautiful Simon Fay guitar. This guitar was originally built for AGF member Larry Pattis, and an awesome build thread for this guitar along with Brazilian variant, is here:

https://www.acousticguitarforum.com/...d.php?t=323730

Unfortunately it looks like the build photos are no longer visible, however I did manage to download them all though so if anyone wants to see the whole trek of this guitar getting built I will be happy to send along.

This guitar looks, sounds and plays beautifully. Has a very rich sound, full of overtones. The 24" scale really is a joy to play. Unfortunately I need to raise some funds and this is my newest guitar so it will be the first to go.

Asking $SOLD paypal'd and shipped. This guitar is Simon's Model One (the only model he makes i believe) with several upgrades: upgraded woods, sound ports, cutaway, tuners, and other cosmetic upgrades including backstrip and soundboard inlay, headstock overlay, and Karura flight case. This guitar would be about $12,000 if ordered new. Guitar is in NJ if there is local interest.

Here are full specs:
Model One – 24” Scale
Master Grade Cocobolo Rosewood
High Grade German Spruce
Cutaway
Tile Rosette
Side Soundports
Headstock Backstrap
Back Centerstrip
1.75” nut width
2.25” bridge/saddle spacing
Highlander IP-1 Pick-up
Karura Custom Case (white)
LeGeyt African Blackwood Tuner Buttons
Gotoh Delta 21:1 tuners
Ebony/Swiss Pearwood Appointments
Wenge & Snakewood Rosette
Spanish Cedar Neck with Ebony Centerline
24” scale length
EVO fretwire

Below are some current pics, and some pics from the original build thread. The top has darkened somewhat, and there is a slight ding in cutaway finish. Other than that the guitar looks the same and is in great condition.

Thanks,
Tom

Default Simon Fey

That is a very beautiful guitar. In fact if it sounds as good as it's twin (I own the twin guitar) it is an incredible guitar.
I hope this helps.

Simon's guitars sound supernatural. He continues to build them better.
