Hi Steve,

Great tune here. Really nice hum along melody - something I find missing in some instrumentals these days. I love the way it plays along but returns back to the main lines of the song. Well constructed. Recording sounds very good as does your fine playing once again. Enjoyed!!

um.. who is the guy in the song picture with the dog and volvo?

Mark

Steve,

Not going to disclose where you put the Rode NT4 when you recorded this one? (see my post above).

OK, so I'm goin' blind in my old age. Steve, I have the same problem: I have to close-mic with the NT4 when I record in the basement into my DAW, and since I have fingernails for my fingerstyle playing, that sound gets captured pretty audibly (as in my post of the John Denver cover last night).

(Thanks, K-Vegas!)

Great job Steve. Very enjoyable. Some very nice playing. Pete is just one of those guys that positively affects every body that comes into contact with him.

Hi Mark . . . thanks so much, I really appreciate your kind comments.

Now about that guy and his dog in the picture. Yep, that is some fellow I used to know. I wish I had his hair . . . among other things!

This is a very nice tune. Not really familiar with it but I likes it. Guitar sounds so "live" and "full" on this...great job capturing that sound.

Hey Colonel . . . glad you got the information from my post. The good thing about having a great mic that picks up just about everything, is that it requires you to play really clean.

Hey Mark . . . thanks for showing Colonel the post.

playing clean is certainly a good thing. Get rid of those squeaks and partially muted strings . . .

Thanks millerzj. You aren't familiar with it because it is an original song. Before I posted it, only my wife and two pugs had heard it.
