Default the dark (and boomy) side.....

A few weeks back I picked up an amp that would be very suitable for a bass combo....100 watts, 15" with a horn and a reasonable amount of tone shaping capability.

I'd been thinking about getting more serious about my recording when golf season is over this year (and hopefully, I'll get my voice back that's been all but destroyed by allergy season this year!!) So, I've been keeping my eye out for a quality bass guitar.

I found something this afternoon at a price point I could swallow....it's a Spector Legend Custom 4 string with a P/J pickup setup (discontinued now)
I'm hoping it's as nice as it looks. There seemed to be positive reviews of it mostly and I'm sure it's more bass than I'll ever need. I should have it by the end of the week.

Anybody else have one here?

Very nice, Todd!

"What do you call a guy who hangs around with musicians?"

...a bass player...

Seriously, though, how's your golf game this year? I've been attempting to play a bit more, but the game is ever elusive... Had a complete BLAST at Bandon Dunes for my 60th b-day; a stunning, amazing, wonderful place...

So, my question is: Fingers, or a pick?

Enjoy your new toy!

play on............................................>

definitely fingers....

the game has been more consistent this year.....the course I play everday isn't that long at 6300 yds, but it has over 60 bunkers and 7-8 large water hazards (not to mention many wetlands areas) I've had it in the mid 70's all but about maybe 5% of the time and a couple of below par 9's. The heat and pollen have been tough lately, but still hanging in there.

I'd love to play Bandon some day.....
