ULTRASOUND DI MAX PRE-AMP DIRECT BOX vs DTAR SOLSTICE
Which is the best choice to use with K&K Trinity and Ultrasound DSX w/XTC or PR-250,ULTRASOUND DI MAX PRE-AMP DIRECT BOX or DTAR SOLSTICE?
ULTRASOUND DI MAX PRE-AMP DIRECT BOX $169.00 DTAR SOLSTICE $328.30 Has anyone ever compered them? Is one of them necessary to use with K&K trinity + ultrasound amplifier?

You won't benifit much if at all bay adding and Ultrasound preamp in front of the Ultrasound DSX . The preamps in the amp and DI are identical. At least they appear to be,
I think the Soltice is for blending two pickups sytems. So if you have two pickups it would be very good

I have a larrivee OM-03R with K&K Trinity (SBT + MICROPHONE).
I'm going to buy a ultrasound amplifier (DSX w/ XTC or PRO-250). I'd like to know if Solstice or Ultrasound DI MAX would be good (necessary).
