Default What is last tag chord in BECAUSE (Dave Clark 5)(key of D)

Hi folks,

I've transcribed "BECAUSE" by The Dave Clark 5 into the key of D and was wondering what the very last chord/tag would be ?

THANKS!

There is a D on the last lyric, but then there's a more complex "tag" chord to end it.

This is a very good break down of the original in the key of G. See at 9:18 for the closing chord (in G).

As far as transposing this song to D, it seems like you would lose the flavor of some of the chord voicings.

The original ends on G(add9), so that's D(add9) in your key.

I think most of us try to learn songs in the original keys (which varies from time to time depending on which version you learn from), but vocal range makes the final decision. Fortunately, sometimes the new chords work out well and offer even better solutions that the originals.

Thanks to all for your responses! I agree with Nama, and Dadd9 (10th fret) works.

Cheers!
