Default (SOLD) 1969 Martin D-35 *** Price Drop

SOLD on Reverb..... net to me after PayPal and shipping

Recently put in perfect playing condition by a master luthier/builder. The neck needed a reset and the bridge was lifting a bit. It now has a Perfect neck reset and reglued bridge. New bone nut and saddle, and beautiful new tortoise pickguard. Had to get rid of the shrinking original black pickguard. The new one looks fantastic. (The Original owners ss# is carved into back of headstock. (Digitally blacked out in pic below) He Probably was in the service...mojo).

No cracks.

I recently spent Quite a bit getting this beauty into 100% shape, but I’m a Gibson slope shoulder hog guy, and guess I always will be. I’ve tried to make it mine, but this loud rosewood Martin beast is just not for me. It will be perfect for D-35 players!

Rich, deep bass and sparkly mids. Rings loud and the sustain is unbelievable. The large rosewood bridge plates on these ‘69 D-35’s have a bad rep, but this guitar sounds great as is so I did not replace it when I had the neck reset.

Comes with a brand new professionally installed K & K pure mini (with vintage jack so no endpin drilling on the Brazilian).

I can't confirm it for certain, but I believe the case may be the original hardshell case.

Thanks

Brother your game is strong.

Fantastic offer. I have toyed with offering up my J50 plus cash, but I would get beaten around here.

For other AGFers... I have traded with this seller. He knows tone, he is upfront and honest, and deals are always without a hitch.

Man i do dig the thirty five

Thanks Sal! You should take a drive down my way and check it out, and bring the Bird for a visit with old friends. Your J-50 is safe from me. I have a 2001 J-45 that I believe to be a Sandy survivor based on the cleaning and crack repair it needed...very lightweight and airy for a Bozeman standard. A “good” one.

If your still on the hunt for a rosewood 000 style guitar for your herd, I recommend including the Guild Orpheum as a candidate. They compare nicely to the higher end Martins.

Also willing to professionally remove the k & k pure mini and vintage jack and take the sale price down to $4050.

Thanks.

I just restrung her, trying out Retro Monnel mediums. Wow!!!
Still love my Ej-19’s on my Gibson’s, but I’m shocked at how much warmer the D-35 got.
I’m wavering now, but for the time being it is still for sale.

If you are in the DC area, come check her out in person.

Motivated seller. I have my eye on another guitar, but I need to release one before I catch again.

Anyone have a maple guild dread or jumbo that they would like to trade towards the D-35? I'm partial to the ebony fretboards on maple neck models such as the G45 or GF60.

Thanks

How difficult would it be to sand that SSN off the back of the headstock?

I just need to give this a bump after reading the article about David Gilmour's acoustics... his main love is a '69 D35, that's the guitar you hear on Wish You Were Here.
