Dennis had an extra day to spend with us in San Antonio and a large portion of that was he and I noodling around. I played the Kostal for 20 minutes and it was a little hard to hand back. I think what struck me was that it did whatever you asked it to do with little to no effort. I know others have alluded to needed to get after it a little if you want it to growl. I did not find that the case at all. Although a fingerpicking guitar, lay a pic on these strings and the room was filled with sound. I thought the guitar was almost intuitive, doing what I asked before I asked it. Sounds stupid I know, but that is how I would describe it.

Anyway, it is fantastic, Dennis could not stop smiling, and his voice and this guitar are a matched made in heaven (or Arizona at least)!

I never tried either of the Kostal guitars...not because I wasn’t interested, but because I was too afraid that if I messed one up...the financial liability would be waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay beyond my ability to compensate.

Dennis,
You are such a great spirit. I just watched the video. You are like a kid at Christmas and you make me feel like a mom sneaking a peek. Sweet.

And Joel, THANK YOU for such a wonderful (FB) post to us sharing your experience. Very precious and highly appreciated!
