I was on the (roughly) ten-year plan but pushed it a bit...

I'm an 'at risk' patient, so I'm on the every 5 year plan. I always have a few polyps removed.

So, yeh, I'm real ok with this being the final one, whatever that might mean....
Perhaps one day medical science will be able to perform these types of tests without all this prep work.

All I can say is that my final colonoscopy is behind me.

Pun definitely intended....

I'm getting to the age where there seem to be a number of last times showing up! Congrats though!

I'm 71 and it's been 6 years since my last one where 3, 2mm benign polyps were removed. My Doc's female assistant (with a very convincing voice) suggested it is time to schedule a new one. I caved. 6/7/2021 is the next one. This will give me an entire month to have anxiety.

I had one recently and was prescribed SUPREP for the prep. It was awful as usual, though not quite not as awful as some previous ones which tasted even worse (and I found out later could cause kidney problems).

I found out that the same company has just had a new prep approved, SUTAB. It's more or less the same ingredients, but you take a bunch of tablets and drink a lot of water. Sounds much better. I am hoping for that the next time.

yer lucky, my wifes family is on the once a year plan.

I wonder if you're familiar with the term "Lynch Syndrome" If not, just thank God you are not.

Colon cancer has ripped thru her family like no tomorrow.

I have Crohn's disease, so every 3-5 years for me, joy. It's the gift that keeps on giving.
