Default A couple of clips from O`ahu

Led is touring the mainland this month but before he left O`ahu we got together and shot a version of "Kaimana Hila." I was able to use the XY mic module of the Zoom H6 for this shot:

After he left I scouted around for a new location for a video and found the Queen Lili`uokalani Botanical Garden in the Nu`uanu district of Honolulu. Naturally I had to play "Lili`u E," a tribute to the Queen that has become a standard in both chant and song form. Because of the traffic noise I used the DI input of the Zoom to catch the Baggs Lyric pickup:

Thanks, Matt. I'm missing our guitar get-togethers. I need to try to find the right spot on the calendar to do another one.

Jayne, I definitely have to agree with you on the Hawai`i vibe. The islands have a special magic for me and for many others.

Good try, Bob. I think the adjective follows the noun in Hawaiian although I'm way far from knowledgeable.

Interestingly, ho`omaha means a musical rest as well as a vacation/retirement/rest. Pretty cool, eh?

Thank you, Larry. I can assure you that we have a ton of fun playing together. Ever since I started playing with Led I've tried to find a way to support his playing and I think it's starting to work.
