I like the visual simplicity of the Ebony bindings and the visual (but not technical!) simplicity of the Holly and Maple inlays because they don't compete with the busyness of that flamed Redwood and tortoise shell-veined Honduran Mahogany.

I do try to take weekends out of the shop but that doesn't mean we can't nail down which tuners we're going to use:
![]() The custom Macassar buttons were an easy choice. Then it was between Gold, Black or Dark Metallic. We landed on Dark Metallic: Then it was a choice between The Gotoh mini 510 or the open Schertler: ![]() And the open Schedulers take the day!
