MF SDOTD - Another Martin

Musician's Friend got a Martin DST in satin finish up as the Stupid Deal.
Not familiar with this one, seem to be a "value" line. A little premium touches, like a ebony fret board, with cost cut like a gig bag.

I'm already set with Martin for now (a twenty year old D16 and a new MF Special D18 style), so just highlighting a deal.

That DST price, although discontinued, is about the sponsor price if you can find one. The D-18 lists for $3,149 so a sponsor price would be around (because I can't speak for sponsors) $!,900. You won't get one for this STD price unless you find someone giving it away below cost.

Whoops...sorry...I saw the $1899 price. yep you're right.

This is is actually a very nice guitar and a good deal to someone who doesn't know about internet priceing.

For me, if it was another 200 lower, I would have ordered it already. Actually, I'd have called GC and got them to match. Then i could have returned it right to a store if I didn't like it.

If it was 100 cheaper, I still might have bitten, but I really like satin finish guitars.
